SAFE, SUPPORTED AND TAKEN SERIOUSLY.

Safeguarding sits underneath everything we do at Positive Impact.

We work in a calm and approachable way, but we are also vigilant at all times. Nothing is overlooked and nothing is taken lightly. Every young person and every member of the community has the right to feel safe, respected and protected.

We do not treat safeguarding as a separate responsibility. It is part of every conversation, every decision and every environment we create.

SCROLL DOWN

OUR APPROACH TO SAFEGUARDING

We build relationships first. That is what allows young people to feel safe enough to speak, ask for help and trust the adults around them.

At the same time, we are clear, consistent and boundaried. Safeguarding is not reactive. It is constant.

Our approach means:

Young people are listened to and taken seriously
Concerns are acted on quickly and appropriately
Staff are trained, aware and confident in their responsibilities
Safeguarding is embedded in daily practice, not just policy

We are laid back in how we are with people, but that never comes at the cost of keeping them safe.

REPORT A SAFEGUARDING CONCERN

If you have a concern about a child, young person or vulnerable adult, please contact our safeguarding team directly.

If you believe someone is in immediate danger, please call 999.

You can also contact your local authority safeguarding team for further advice.
