The Impact Update: August 2026

August has been another full and positive month across Positive Impact Group. While our Foundation teams have been busy delivering summer camps, plenty has been happening behind the scenes to get our staff, sites and students ready for the new academic year.

Getting Our Team Ready

Our teams came together for Staff Training Week, giving everyone time to refresh their knowledge, learn together and prepare for September.

Training covered I Do, We Do, You Do planning with Amelia, alongside First Aid, Team Teach, Safeguarding and Prevent. It was a valuable week for sharing ideas, strengthening practice and making sure our teams feel confident and ready for the year ahead.

A Brilliant Summer for the Foundation

It’s also been a fantastic summer for Positive Impact Foundation, with an incredible number of attendances across our summer camps.

💙 1,541 at Michael Drayton

💙 390 at Nicholas Chamberlaine

That’s 1,931 attendances across the two camps!

From getting active and trying new activities to spending time with friends and making new ones, it’s been brilliant to see so many children and young people enjoying their summer with us.

A huge thank you to our Foundation team and everyone who helped make the camps happen.

Ready for September

Over at Positive Impact Academy, the team has been busy getting everything ready to welcome students back. Classrooms, resources, learning spaces and systems have all been prepared for the new term.

There’s always plenty happening before the doors reopen, and a lot of hard work goes into making sure everything is ready for our young people from day one.

A big thank you to everyone across Positive Impact Group for everything you’ve put into August.

We’re ready for 2026/27, and we can’t wait to get started!
