The Foundation Projects

At the Positive Impact Foundation, we believe that every child and young person deserves the opportunity to feel supported, connected and able to achieve their potential.

We know that no two individuals are the same. Some young people need additional support in school. Others benefit from positive activities outside of education, trusted adult relationships or opportunities to develop confidence and resilience. That is why our work spans schools, communities and youth provision, creating support that meets people where they are.

Through a range of targeted programmes and community initiatives, we work alongside schools, families and local partners to create meaningful opportunities that help young people thrive.

Inspire

The Inspire programme supports children who may have become disengaged from education due to low confidence, challenging behaviour or additional learning needs.

Working one-to-one or in small groups, we provide both academic and pastoral support designed to help children build confidence, develop resilience and improve engagement with school.

Alongside curriculum-based learning, Inspire focuses on personal development, helping young people understand positive choices, build healthy relationships and develop the skills needed to navigate challenges both inside and outside the classroom.

By providing dedicated time, attention and support, we help children rediscover confidence in themselves and their ability to succeed.

Prosperity

The Prosperity Award focuses on developing character, confidence and resilience.

Designed for primary-aged pupils, the programme encourages young people to explore their strengths, express their feelings and develop important life skills through practical activities, teamwork and reflection.

Each session is built around specific personal development outcomes, helping children strengthen skills such as communication, self-awareness, problem-solving and resilience.

Our aim is to help young people develop the inner confidence needed to face challenges, embrace opportunities and become the best version of themselves.

Shine

The Shine Project provides highly personalised one-to-one support for children and young people with additional physical, sensory, social or emotional needs.

Every programme is designed around individual targets and outcomes, developed collaboratively with families, schools and professionals.

Support may focus on communication, emotional regulation, social interaction, physical development or simply creating dedicated opportunities for positive engagement with a trusted adult.

Every young person is different, so every Shine programme is unique.

Target

Target combines curriculum learning with physical activity and practical experiences to create engaging opportunities for children to catch up academically.

Using games, movement, creativity and hands-on tasks, the programme helps reinforce classroom learning while increasing engagement and motivation.

Every programme is tailored to the needs of the school and linked directly to curriculum objectives, ensuring children remain connected to their learning while benefiting from a more active and engaging approach.

PE Delivery

We believe Physical Education should be accessible, enjoyable and meaningful for every child.

Our PE Delivery programme works in partnership with schools to provide high-quality, inclusive Physical Education that supports both physical development and personal growth.

Through our Passport to PE approach, pupils develop physical competencies while also strengthening confidence, teamwork, resilience, communication and decision-making skills.

Our goal is simple: to help every child enjoy being active and experience success through sport and movement.

PE Mentoring Programme

Alongside delivering PE lessons, we also support teachers and teaching assistants through our PE Mentoring Programme.

This initiative helps school staff build confidence and expertise in delivering effective Physical Education, providing practical mentoring, guidance and professional development opportunities.

By working alongside school teams, we help create sustainable improvements that continue long after the programme has ended.

Youth Hubs

Our Youth Hubs provide safe, welcoming spaces where young people can spend time with friends, develop new skills and access support from trusted adults.

Activities range from sports and games to workshops, creative projects and community-based learning opportunities.

More importantly, Youth Hubs create a sense of belonging. They provide positive spaces where young people can build relationships, explore interests and develop confidence while learning how to make safe and responsible choices.

Holiday Camps

Our holiday camps provide children with fun, active and engaging experiences throughout the school holidays.

From multi-sports activities and team games to arts, crafts and creative challenges, every day is designed to keep children active, entertained and connected.

Delivered in safe, secure environments by experienced staff, our camps provide families with trusted holiday provision while giving children opportunities to make friends, try new activities and create lasting memories.

Creating Positive Impact Every Day

While each Foundation project has its own purpose, they all share the same goal.

Whether we are supporting a child in school, delivering a youth programme in the community or creating opportunities during the school holidays, we are committed to helping young people build confidence, access opportunities and create positive futures.

Through strong relationships, meaningful experiences and consistent support, the Positive Impact Foundation continues to make a difference in the lives of children, young people and communities every day.
